We're looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to improve our website's visibility and provide consistent optimisation support. You'll handle scheduled monthly updates, technical fixes, blog uploads, image optimisation, and ongoing performance checks.Key Responsibilities:Audit the website and provide ongoing technical SEO fixesAddress issues such as missing meta descriptions, multiple H1s, alt text, duplicate IDs, accessibility errors, and render-blocking elementsOptimise on-page elements (titles, headers, internal linking, meta descriptions)Improve and monitor site speed and Core eb VitalsEnsure mobile responsiveness and smooth user experienceImplement structured data (schema) for relevant content typesConduct keyword research and recommend content opportunitiesUpload or optimise blog posts, images, and page updates each monthMonitor rankings, traffic, and site performance and provide monthly reportsMaintain a clean backlink strategy (no spam or low-quality links)Support and improve local SEO (Google Business Profile, local listings, etc.)Stay updated with Google algorithm changes and propose improvementsRequirements:Remote position (Sri Lanka-based applicants only)Part-time / Monthly maintenanceApplicants must have experience working with companies in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the wider Gulf region, with a good understanding of how SEO behaves in those marketsStrong technical SEO expertise (Able to diagnose and fix issues independently - Core Web Vitals, speed, accessibility, schema, structural fixes) and experience with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics etc.)Who are we?SkySCHOOL Online is an online British Islamic School, which focuses on inculcating the importance of life as a Muslim though the Qur'an and Sunnah, along with practising the ways of our pious predecessors, bringing out the best in our children's academic knowledge.
