Job description:• Create accurate first patterns based on design sketches, tech packs, or samples.• Make manual and digital patterns using CAD systems (Optitex).• Ensure patterns are technically sound and suitable for production.• Modify and adjust patterns based on fitting and production feedback.• Collaborate with designers, sample makers, and production teams.• Maintain pattern libraries and ensure updates for changes or improvements.• Ensure all patterns meet size and grading standards.• Solve pattern related production issues efficiently.• Develop efficient markers for production, prototypes, and sampling.• Maximize fabric utilization and minimize wastage through smart marker planning.• Prepare markers according to fabric type (e.g. directional prints, stripes)• Ensure markers meet required specifications for cutting and sewing. • Work closely with cutting and production teams to resolve layout issues.• Update marker library and maintain proper documentation for all styles. Qualification:• Diploma or Degree in Garment Technology, Industrial Pattern Making, Apparel Manufacturing.• Minimum 3 years of experience in pattern making and marker planning.• Proficient in pattern and marker CAD software (Optitex)• Strong knowledge of garment construction and textile properties.• Ability to interpret tech packs, spec sheets, and design sketches.• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.• Understanding of fabric yield optimization and cost impact.
