SecOps (Security Operations) Engineer | Global Medical Technology Leader

Job Description

Our client is a global innovator in life-science engineering and high-performance medical device manufacturing is seeking a highly skilled SecOps Engineer to enhance and safeguard their worldwide IT infrastructure.In this role, you will bridge IT operations and cybersecurity, ensuring the protection of critical systems, networks, and data that support life-saving technologies used by patients and healthcare professionals worldwide.Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain security policies aligned with industry standards.Monitor IT systems, networks, and logs to detect vulnerabilities and threats.Lead and manage security incident response, investigations, and remediation.Identify and prioritize vulnerabilities; coordinate timely patching with IT teams.Manage and optimize security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR/XDR, antivirus, etc.).Collaborate with SOC, IT, and global teams to ensure strong security operations.Conduct threat analysis and support proactive risk mitigation.Deliver security awareness training and promote best practices across the organization.Continuously assess security posture and drive improvements. Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or relevant cybersecurity certifications (OSCP, CEH, etc.)Relevant experience in a similar SecOps or cybersecurity roleProficiency in English (written and verbal)Familiarity with NIST / ISO 27001Strong learning ability and proactive attitudeAdditional Knowledge & ExperienceStrong understanding of cybersecurity principles, attack vectors, vulnerabilitiesNetworking protocols, architectures, firewalls, routers, intrusion detection/preventionProficiency with Linux & Windows administrationVulnerability analysis and remediationIncident response methodologiesExperience with SIEM toolsExperience securing cloud environments (preferably Azure)Scripting skills (Python or PowerShell) is a strong advantage🌍 Why Join?Work with a global leader whose mission directly impacts patient safety, healthcare outcomes, and the future of medical innovation.
