Help us help workplaces, work better!Reporting to our Sales Director and being a part of the Sales Leadership Team and wider SLT, in this role you will strategise and execute sales initiatives across the sector to identify opportunities and create growth (including for our Back-to-School season). Coach our sales leaders and partner to drive sales activity within all learning providers across the motu.Experience within the Education Sector is not a must. We are looking for a sales driver, who partners and values relationships, having experience developing and implementing successful commercial strategies. In this position you will also play a lead role in our All of Government contracts and relationships with industry partners.Your Key Responsibilities Are Lead strategic management of the Education vertical by developing, documenting, allocating accountability and tracking execution of Sales Strategy for the Education Sector Lead OfficeMax’s All of Government relationship for Schools and Tertiary, to ensure customer satisfaction and retention Lead the Education Sector team to be the supplier of choice across the early childcare, primary, secondary and tertiary segments Develop capability and best practice in commercial and market acumen across the Education Sector team Lead the resolution of significant or strategic customer, resource and process issues or escalations through internal and external collaboration and negotiation Contribute to internal Product Development processes by sharing customer and Education Sector sales insights, product gaps and ideas for new offerings Drive the identification of opportunities, sales leads, and referrals to grow sales and capture new accounts in the Education Sector Ensure accurate and transparent forecasting, compliance with S&OP processes and sales activity planning across the Education Sector team Work with the Sales Leadership team and Business Insights team to implement strategy, commercial profitability, operational excellence and process innovation initiatives Drive long-term Sector growth through applying business insights and market intelligence to target opportunities and new customersWhat You Will Bring A strategic sales leader with experience working across complex businesses or markets Proven success leading and coaching front line Sales Managers and Senior Sales staff Proven experience working within Aotearoa’s public sector, and in markets with seasonal variation preferred Previous experience working collaboratively with Sales Management Teams and senior internal stakeholders Demonstrated experience in leveraging groups, associations and networks to grow revenue A track record of lifting both individual and team capability Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsPeople, Culture And Working For OfficeMaxOur brand is deceiving.
