Security Engineer

As a member of the Security Engineering team, the Security Engineer will play a key role in: Supporting our Security platforms. Developing scripts, pipelines and playbooks to automate processes and capabilities. Working closely with product teams, advocating for ‘Shift Left’ tooling and processes, providing SME support with (pipeline and IDE) integration of code scanning tools. Authoring and participating in development of technology standards (focus on cloud services). Secure Applications and infrastructure across Cloud, Containers and Data Centre environments. Creating and maintaining documentation. Qualifications 3+ years’ experience in a technical role, supporting infrastructure; Network, compute, storage & cloud, SecOps is highly regarded. Proven hands-on experience with scripting languages will be advantageous (PowerShell, python) Technical Requirement gathering skills are desirable.Experiencing creating and maintaining Technical Documents, Support and Operations manuals and Knowledge Base articles Identify and manage risk within day to day operations Solid understanding of security concepts e.g SEIM, SOAR, Threat Intel, Compliance, Zero Trust, Data communication etc. Understanding of Frameworks e.g. OWASP Top 10, ISO27001 etc. Azure Fundamentals, Security +, Splunk Core user, and intermediate level Security/Vendor Certifications are desired.
