Security Manager

Sokoni Africa Limited is looking for a qualified and experienced Security Manager to join our team. As the Security Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of our hotel premises, guests, and staff. Your role is vital in maintaining a secure environment and preventing security incidents.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols in line with best practicesOversee the security team, providing training and guidance to ensure effective performanceConduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilitiesMonitor surveillance systems and respond to incidents or emergencies promptlyCoordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as neededImplement safety protocols for guests and staff, enhancing the overall security of the hotelMaintain accurate records of security incidents and prepare reports for managementRequirementsBachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related fieldProven experience as a Security Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industryStrong knowledge of security protocols, systems, and emergency proceduresExcellent leadership and team management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to remain calm under pressure and manage crisis situationsCertification in security management or law enforcement is a plus
