As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol the healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with staff and visitors, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate company vehicles as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access. Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification as needed, and assisting visitors and staff. Maintain detailed and accurate records of all patrols, incidents, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site management. Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and local law enforcement as directed, providing information and assistance as needed. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A valid commercial driver’s license is required. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
