Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Security Officer located in Bamako. The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring and controlling access to the premises. Day-to-day tasks include conducting regular inspections, responding to security incidents, enforcing policies and procedures, and coordinating with other personnel to ensure safety. The role also involves documenting incidents and maintaining detailed records to support security operations. Qualifications Knowledge of security operations, access control systems, and surveillance equipmentSkills in incident response, risk assessment, and enforcing safety protocolsStrong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate and prevent security issuesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse individuals calmly and professionallyAbility to work effectively under pressure, and handle emergency situations with sound judgmentRelevant certifications in security or similar fields are a plusPrior experience in a security role, military, or law enforcement is beneficial
