About The Role And The TeamAs our Security Operations Lead, you will take end-to-end ownership of our Security Operations services development and delivery, including Managed Detection & Response (MDR), Incident Response, and Security Consulting.You will play a central role in building a new SOC capability, setting standards, developing services, and supporting customers in strengthening their security operations. The role combines leadership, hands-on expertise, and close collaboration with colleagues across sales, product, and delivery.You’ll be trusted to make decisions, improve how we work, and help shape the future of cyber security services at GlobalConnect.The cyber security team will be part of the security services unit responsible for security products and services in GlobalConnect’s B2B business unit. Our unit has the sole focus of enabling our customers to secure their infrastructure. You will be part of a cross-Nordic organization with international customers.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive technical security initiatives and take the lead in establishing a modern and professional SOC department Own the technical delivery and operational quality of all Security Operations service offerings Delivery of cyber security consultancy, advisory and professional services to GlobalConnect customers Guide and mentor security specialists, supporting their professional growth and operational maturity Support pre-sales and sales as a technical subject matter expert, including scoping of requirement, contribute to proposals, and engage with customers as a senior, trusted advisor around their security operations, guiding them on detection, response and operational cyber security maturity. Here you’ll get the rare chance to build a high-impact security service from scratch, influence product direction, and grow a team within an established, fast-scaling technology provider.To Succeed In This Role, We Believe You Have7+ years of relevant technical cyber security and lead experience, practical knowledge covering following areas:Working in security operations like security monitoring and security incident response, preferably in a lead role and in a customer-facing organization Designing layered protection, detection and response with relevant security technologies for modern end-user environment (e.g. endpoint, identity, email, network) Standardizing and continuously improving the quality of operations. Working with customers and sales teams Proficient in English and fluent in one Nordic language (Swedish, Norwegian or Danish) - able to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues in both written and spoken form.
