Job Title: Security Solutions Architect – Microsoft SolutionsDepartment: Cyber Risk and Technology Advisory ServicesLocation: Cyberjaya, MalaysiaJob Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are is seeking an experienced Security Solutions Architect to lead the design, deployment, and support of Microsoft Security and Compliance solutions. The role requires deep technical expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem and strong leadership capabilities to drive secure digital transformation for enterprise clients.This position reports to the Senior Director, Cyber Risk and Technology Advisory Services and involves collaboration across multiple teams to enhance clients’ security posture and resilience.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end architecture, implementation, and optimization of Microsoft 365 and Azure Security & Compliance solutions.Design and integrate advanced Microsoft security platforms, including Microsoft Purview, Entra ID, Defender for Cloud, Defender for Office 365, and Defender for Endpoint.Translate business and regulatory requirements into technical architectures and deployment blueprints.Oversee solution onboarding, configuration, and secure deployment across multi-tenant and hybrid environments.Perform advanced troubleshooting, incident response, and root cause analysis to ensure system integrity.Develop and maintain architecture documentation, configuration baselines, and playbooks.Collaborate with governance, infrastructure, and cloud teams to standardize security processes and automation frameworks.Mentor implementation teams and drive best practices in Microsoft Security configuration.Participate in incident response, post-incident reviews, and resilience planning.Support Cyber Risk and Technology Advisory engagements and contribute to cybersecurity transformation initiatives.Experience & ExpertiseMinimum 12 years of IT experience, including 8–10 years in Security Engineering or Architecture, specializing in cProven hands-on experience with:Microsoft Defender for Endpoint / Defender for CloudMicrosoft Purview (AIP/DLP)Microsoft Entra ID (Identity Governance, Conditional Access)Strong understanding of Security Operations, Governance, and Service Delivery.Experience implementing Microsoft Security solutions in global enterprise environments.Familiarity with ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and other cybersecurity compliance frameworks.Experience integrating with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira.Qualifications (Mandatory)Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related technical discipline.Microsoft Certifications:SC-100 – Cybersecurity Architect ExpertSC-200 – Security Operations Analyst AssociateSC-400 – Information Protection & Compliance AdministratorAZ-900 – Azure FundamentalsPreferred Certifications:AZ-500 – Azure Security Engineer AssociateSC-300 – Identity and Access Administrator AssociateCisco CCNA or equivalent (optional).Skills & AbilitiesExcellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are an advantage.Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a collaborative mindset.Deep understanding of Microsoft Security architecture and integration.Analytical, structured, and proactive problem-solving approach.Ability to work under pressure during critical incidents and provide extended support when needed.Performance ExpectationsMeet or exceed service delivery SLAs and client satisfaction benchmarks.Maintain up-to-date documentation and architecture blueprints.Continuously improve solution design, deployment efficiency, and service quality.
