"based on levelling system"Averaging Agreement: Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hoursPosting Date: October 17, 2025Internal Posting Closing Date: October 24, 2025External Posting Closing Date: October 24, 2025Essential Job FunctionsProvides leadership, direction, and ongoing coaching and trainingEnsures all standing orders and scheduled daily activities are carried out as required for each shiftEnsures site staff adhere to all Paladin Security and site-specific security policies and proceduresPlans and implements shift work schedulesEnsures all Security Guards have received the mandatory trainingMotivates staff and issues commendationsCoach and manage team performance, issuing corrective actions when necessary, and ensure all performance-related documentation is sent to the Client Service ManagerAttendance ManagementPerforms security auditsDocuments and investigates security incidents and complaintsProvide proactive and reactive security patrols.Communicates any concerns/issues with Client Service ManagerRequirementsA Valid Ontario Security Guard LicenseA Valid Standard First AID CPR C Certificate (From a WSIB Approved Organization)Proof of up to date immunization records for Mumps, Measles, Rubella, Varicella and two step Tuberculosis skin testCovid Vaccine two dosesMust be willing to complete N95 Mask fit testing during the trainingVulnerable Sector CheckEnglish (oral and written) fluency is a mustAt least one year of security experience in a team lead role Minimum two year of security experience in healthcare environmentPost-Secondary education in a law enforcement/security program from a recognized collegeWorking knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health ActDemonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacyLegally authorized to work in Canada Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)Applicants who do not possess these certifications can opt into Paladin's Use of Force (UOF)/Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the positionPlease be aware: The UOF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-employment requisite; however, Paladin will cover all the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability.Why choose Paladin?
