This role involves the direct management of a large team of SEM Specialists in the Philippines, with the key responsibility of establishing and growing a new team in Bangkok. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, deep expertise in paid ad campaigns across various platforms, and the ability and willingness to foster a high-performance culture and ensure the continuous development of our SEM specialists.What You Will Do...Team Leadership & Management:Lead, manage, and motivate a large team of SEM Specialists in the Philippines, with 4 SEM Team Leads reporting directly to you.Build out a team of SEM Specialists in Bangkok within the next 12 months, including writing job descriptions, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.Conduct weekly coaching sessions and daily huddles with team members to foster continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.Set weekly targets for the SEM team in collaboration with the Demand Plus Business Manager, based on past trends and future projectionsAssess technical capabilities and cultural fit of applicants during the interview process, liaising with Talent Acquisition as needed.Paid Ads Campaign Management & Optimization:Demonstrate strong initiative in managing Paid Ads Campaigns across various platforms.Oversee and manage the Demand Plus paid ads portfolios, including recommending and enacting changes to the portfolio and campaign structures based on business goals.Develop and maintain competitive assessments of Paid Ads Campaigns to meet key client targets.Conduct testing on various Paid Ads Campaign strategies across existing and upcoming metasearch partners and ad platforms.Coordinate with the SEM Team Leads to identify weekly trends and issues within processes and tools.Operational Excellence & Process Improvement:Develop and facilitate process training for all members of the SEM Team.Report any technical issues affecting daily business function to relevant internal and external teams and collaborate with them to resolve.Work with cross-functional teams on product development, process improvement, and facilitate beta testing.Lead personnel in maintaining and managing other Demand Plus essentials, such as providing feedback on Demand Plus Support Channel inquiries, resolving Google Business Listing match/mismatch issues, and other background aspects for metasearch partners.Cross-functional Collaboration:Collaborate with People & Culture stakeholders to ensure team development and growth opportunities are built and deliveredWork closely with SiteMinder's Director of Metasearch/Pay and Demand Plus Business Manager to align SEM strategies with overall business objectives.Escalate any urgent issues affecting business performance to relevant external and internal stakeholders.What You Have...Proven experience in managing and leading large teams, ideally within a digital marketing or SEM context.Extensive experience with paid ads campaigns across various platforms, demonstrating a deep understanding of digital performance marketing.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights with the support of the Demand Plus Business ManagerExperience in setting up and scaling new teams or business units, preferably in international locations.Demonstrated ability to set and achieve ambitious targets.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and trusted relationships with staff and stakeholders across cultural or functional boundaries.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, demonstrating comfort with ambiguity and decision-making in the absence of perfect information.A pragmatic, can-do approach to problem-solving, comfortable working with unfamiliar concepts and identifying levers to drive outcomes.Experience in the hotel distribution or travel technology industry is a plus.Our Perks & Benefits… Equity packages for you to be a part of the SiteMinder journey Preferably Hybrid working model or Fully remote (in-office & from home) Mental health and well-being initiatives Generous parental (including secondary) leave policy Paid birthday, study and volunteering leave every year Sponsored social clubs, team events, and celebrations Employee Resource Groups (ERG) to help you connect and get involved Investment in your personal growth offering training for your advancementDoes this job sound like you?
