Fluxx is looking for a highly motivated Senior Account Executive to join the Go to Market team. In the role of Senior Account Executive - Gov and Public Sector, your primary focus will be to identify and develop strategic relationships with potential Government and Public Sector customers. You will work with the Solution Center, Marketing, Product, and Leadership teams to build a strong pipeline of new Government and Public Sector customers. You will drive both the pipeline building and closing process of sales opportunities and identify growth opportunities using a consultative methodology. You are an experienced sales professional with at least 5 years experience selling into State / Local Government and Public Sector accounts who thrives in a team environment who is looking to work in a SaaS sales environment as part of a purpose-driven organization.We are looking for people who are curious, tenacious, intellectually honest, and have a bias toward action. Over the past decade Fluxx has built a boundary-pushing community of 350+ grantmakers who work with more 150,000 nonprofits worldwide who are responsible for transacting $15.7B in investments last year alone!How you will make an impact/what you will do:Win new logo revenue (ARR) within Government and Public Sector accounts according to the business plan and on a consistent Quarterly and Annual basisYou will generate and maintain a consistent, accurate, and balanced pipeline of opportunities in assigned territory and guide prospects through the sales cycle to close Lead all aspects of the sales process within your assigned territory of accountsInteract with potential partners, industry groups, and other key external stakeholders as well as understand and evaluate business opportunities, you will develop, modify and execute on business development opportunities. Collaborate on any appropriate RFx’s for your territory and work in conjunction with RevOps / Deal Desk / Proposal Writer and GTM Leadership to ensure a compelling RFx is delivered on time and to qualityAttend industry events as directed by GTM LeadershipAchieve/exceed individual revenue goals/quota on a consistent Quarterly and Annual basisCollaborate with internal teams (i.e. Solution Center, RevOps, Finance, Marketing, Product) to drive sales strategy, solution development, proposal delivery, and implementation. Maintain product familiarity What you bring to the team:At least 5 years experience as a top-performing Account Executive in Government and Public Sector SaaS sales (State & Local)Experience building and managing a sales pipeline and driving complex, multi-stakeholder deals to closureExperience working with distributors, reseller partners and relevant public sector contract vehicles/cooperative agreements for SaaS procurementAbility to organize to a broad geographic territory, developing and executing a strategic plan with vertical focus and identification and prioritization of target accounts. Deep knowledge of Government and Public Sector (State and Local) essential20-30% travel requiredSalary:The expected annual base salary for this role is $110-$125K. This position is also eligible for target-based commissions in the range of $110-$125K. The base pay range is subject to change in the future.The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on, but not limited to (a) location; (b) individual candidate skills and qualifications; and (c) individual candidate experience.Fluxx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. We take a market-based approach to pay which may vary depending on your location.
