Senior Accountant

Position: Senior AccountantLocation: Muscat, Oman Responsibilities: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and principles. Maintain accurate cost accounting records, including standard and job costing, and perform variance analysis.Support the development of budgets and forecasts, particularly for production and operational activities.Track and analyze budget performance, providing insights on variances and corrective actions.Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements.Collaborate closely with operations, procurement, and production teams to streamline financial processes and reporting.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 4–6 years of experience in financial and general accounting. Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is an added advantage.
