Senior Accountant

Our global network of professionals combines industry knowledge with technical expertise to help clients navigate complex challenges and seize opportunities.We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant in our Accounting, Compliance and Reporting team.As a Senior Accountant in our Accounting, Compliance and Reporting (ACR) department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality accounting and compliance services to international clients. This role combines technical expertise with client-facing responsibilities, offering opportunities to work on diverse projects and developing leadership skills and to be part of a team that values collaboration, support and opportunities to grow.Key Responsibilities:Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with local and international accounting standardsParticipate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processesMaintain accurate and organized financial recordsEnsure accurate general ledger maintenance and reconciliationsBe part of various accounting projects and initiatives as neededCollaborate others team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Prepare and review management reporting for clientsPrepare and review direct (CIT) and indirect (VAT, Intrastat) tax returnsParticipate in and communicate with the tax authorities during tax auditsCommunicate with and assist the clients’ auditors during annual financial auditsDelegate and review tasks given to junior staffCommunicate with clients on a daily basisParticipate in preparation of proposals and other selling initiativesQualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; 3-4 years of experience in the field of accounting is a must Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices; Solid understanding of MS Office package; Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills; Strong analytical and problem-solving thinking; Good communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; Fluency in English and BulgarianWhat we offer: Excellent opportunities for career growth, developing personal and business skills by working with some of the most well-known companies Participation and work on significant, interesting and large-scaled projects Variety of learning and development programs, including support for obtaining an ACCA qualification A flexible benefits program tailored to your needs Regular team events and opportunities to participate in different social and charity activities and initiativesWhy choose us?
