Experience the challenges, rewards and opportunity of working for one of the world’s largest providers of products and services to the global energy industry.Job DutiesUnder general supervision, applies knowledge of the company's business systems, business processes and controls, including policies and procedures, relative to the location and department assignedDemonstrates understanding of organizational structure and core businesses of the company and industryPerforms activities involving complex accounting reports and accounting analyses with related spreadsheets and applications inputPrepares and posts journal vouchers for complex accounting transactionsReviews and monitors financial transactions for accuracy and timelinessResearches and resolves complex accounting issues and transactions including related internal controlsPrepares, analyzes, and distributes financial results including variance explanationsParticipates in multi-functional teams and develops project management skillsDemonstrates knowledge in moderately complex aspects of general accounting, internal controls, company policy, financial analysis and reporting, forecasting, and financial applications, as well as intermediate levels of proficiency with industry and company acumenKey ResponsibilitiesPerform review and validation of US GAAP balancesIdentify, calculate, and post all necessary GAAP or timing adjustments to obtain the local statutory trial balanceIndependently lead and support audits and statutory compliances of the countries allocatedCoordinate the input from all relevant information sources and manage the external audit of the statutory financial statements.Other Responsibilities IncludeProcess ImprovementAudit CoordinationPerform account reconciliation QC in Blackline ToolRequirementsMinimum of three (3) years of experience in accounting related roles requiredRequires completion of an undergraduate degree in accounting, business, or related fieldKnowledge of US GAAP or country-specific accounting principles requiredShift TimingFlexible to work in shifts in a day depending on the business needs and the regions supportedQualificationsHalliburton is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
