Senior AccountantPermanent, paying up to €75k + 10% BonusOffenbach, FrankfurtI am currently recruiting for a large, global data center company based near Frankfurt who are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team and support the day to day accounting and financial reporting activities for various corporate development entities located in Europe.On a day to day basis, you will be:Reviewing the allocation of company expenses and overhead costsPerforming account variance analysis and reconciliationsPreparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements including the associated work packagesReviewing invoices for coding and preparing for paymentReconciling and reviewing all cross-company transactions and prepare invoices as requiredPreparing monthly drawdown packages for submission to lenders - Assisting in due diligence on equity investment dealsCompilation of financial data and other audit requirementsPreparation of monthly tenant and customer invoicesTraveling to locations, customer meetings, training courses or conferences as desired and requiredSupporting VAT return preparation in conjunction with indirect tax teamThe ideal candidate will have:Substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and billingAt least five to ten years’ experience in organizations where significant growth was achievedFunctional knowledge of corporate operations and extraordinary financial and cash management skillsAbility to train and motivate other colleaguesStrong quantitative skillsStrong US GAAP and IFRS knowledge preferredConsolidation preparation including FX accounting experience preferredCash flow preparation experience preferredThey will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindsetMust be fluent in English and German
