Senior Accountant

With over 3,000 employees worldwide, we develop and manufacture logistics solutions that are used in many different sectors such as industrial manufacturing, retail and administration.The Senior Accountant is responsible for the full range of accounting activities, including bookkeeping, tax reporting, and the preparation of monthly management reports. The role also involves preparing VAT returns and payroll, as well as supporting internal and external audits.Your TasksRecord and process day-to-day financial transactions accurately and timelyMaintain general ledger accounts and ensure correct classification of transactionsProcess supplier invoices and payments in line with company policiesPerform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepanciesReconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure supporting documentation is availablePrepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with Cyprus tax regulationsPreparation of other tax filings (e.g. VIES, IR7)Record monthly payroll and related social insurance costs accuratelyAssist in the preparation of monthly management accountsEnsure accurate accruals, prepayments, and cut-off of income and expensesEnsure adherence to company financial policies and internal controlsCoordinate with other departments to gather financial dataCollaborate with Group Finance as needed for reporting and compliance mattersYour ProfileBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldLCCI Higher or CAT qualification (additional certifications will be considered an advantage)Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting roles, including at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory positionStrong knowledge of VAT, corporation tax and IFRSExperience with SAP systemsInternational company experienceFluent in English and Greek (spoken and written)Fluent communication skillsPayroll preparation experienceAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of IBM Cognos is an assetExceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
