Join a collaborative, purpose-led team that values integrity, innovation, and inclusion.About The RoleWe’re seeking an experienced Senior Accountant & Payroll professional to provide technical accounting expertise across payroll, month-end close, and compliance. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll oversee end-to-end payroll processing, support financial reporting and audits, and contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives.You’ll work closely with Finance, People & Culture, and the wider organisation to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and strong internal stakeholder support.This is a permanent, full time role.Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end payroll processing, including superannuation, leave accruals, and compliance with the Enterprise Agreement. Support the Financial Controller with month-end journals, reconciliations, fixed asset register, and reporting. Prepare payroll and financial reports, including P&L, leave liability, and annual FTE reporting. Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and payroll cost modelling. Support year-end audits, reconciliations, and external reporting requirements. Champion system improvements across Sage and related platforms to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Provide financial guidance, reporting insights, and excellent support to internal teams.About YouYou’re an organised, detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. You’ll bring: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of accounting experience with demonstrable ownership of payroll processes. Strong reconciliation and month-end close experience. Advanced Excel skills; experience with Sage highly regarded.
