Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Accountant, based in Macroom with some flexibility to work from home. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial control tasks, preparing management accounts, and ensuring timely reporting and benchmarking for retail clients. Additional responsibilities include liaising with clients to provide consultancy and mentoring, assisting with tax returns, overseeing payroll processes, and contributing to the development of innovative financial solutions such as Ezflo. The role involves collaborating with an experienced team to deliver efficient and tailored solutions to meet client needs. Qualifications Strong accounting and financial management expertise, including experience with financial reporting, preparing management accounts, and tax compliance.Knowledge of financial controls, auditing, and financial consultancy/mentoring processes.Proficiency in financial software and familiarity with automated accounting solutions; experience with Ezflo is advantageous.Excellent communication, client relationship management, and problem-solving skills.Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a detail-oriented and results-driven mindset.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA is preferred.Previous experience in retail-focused financial services or a related industry is beneficial.
