Job Description

Purpose of the RoleThe purpose of the accounting role is to ensure accurate and systematic recording, analysis, and reporting of an organization's financial transactions. Accounting plays a critical role in business operations by providing essential financial information for decision-making, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning.Role ResponsibilitiesManage all accounting transactions for company as per IFRS accounting standardsMonthly Customer reconciliation with timely accounting of receipts, debit notes etc.Monthly Vendor reconciliation (Local & International) with timely accounting of payments, credit notes etc.Make monthly customer, vendor and subsidiary reconciliationsMake entries of cash and bank transactions into the systemPrepare and maintain all balance sheet schedulesAssist Finance Manager in preparation of monthly cash flowEnsure that the income and expense records of the Company are kept in compliance with the laws of the relevant countryFollow the domestic and international accounting processes, report the business processes of the offices to the central departmentsHandle Year end audits as per Local law with timely closure as per Group Audit timelinesQualifications, Skills/Know-howBachelor of Commerce/ MBA finance qualificationExperience in the accounting, financial affairs departments of auditing, financial consultancy firms, or corporate companiesGood command of accounting system, uniform chart of accounts, and general accounting practicesAbility to use the SAP accounting system activelyWell versed in English
