Job Description
RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s/CPA/ACCA is a plus).5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2+ years in a senior role.Proven expertise in taxation (Egypt & GCC) and cost allocation methodologies.Strong experience in preparing and managing financial statements for large-scale accounts.Excellent knowledge of Egyptian Accounting Standards (EAS), IFRS, and local tax laws.Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in ERP/Accounting systems and MS Excel.Job DescriptionOversee all accounting operations related to tax compliance, cost allocation, and financial reporting.Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local and international standards.Manage tax planning, filing, and audits, ensuring full compliance with Egyptian tax laws and applicable GCC regulations (if relevant).Lead cost allocation strategies across multiple business units to ensure accuracy, transparency, and profitability tracking.Supervise day-to-day accounting functions including AP, AR, GL, payroll, and reconciliations.Ensure proper handling of high-value accounts involving millions in revenues/expenses.Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies as required.Develop, coach, and supervise accounting staff to enhance performance and compliance.Implement internal controls and policies to strengthen financial governance.
