We build tailored AI agents to automate complex workflows, helping underwriters, brokers, and insurers save time and make better decisions.RoleYou will be the technical lead for the AI side of this project, responsible for designing, developing, and integrating three core AI modules:Smart Intake – process documents in any format (PDF, Excel, email, scanned images) into structured digital form.Key Information Extraction – identify, normalize, and validate underwriting-critical data points.Research Agents – autonomous or semi-autonomous agents to verify or enrich extracted data (e.g., vehicle checks, risk profile, compliance rules).You will work closely with our insurance experts, owning the architecture, implementation, and optimization of the AI stack.ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & Design: Define the AI pipeline for document ingestion, extraction, and research agents.Document Processing: Implement robust OCR + pipelines for multi-format documentsInformation Extraction: Build entity extraction models (LLM + rules + ML hybrid)Agent Development: Create research agents (LangChain / LangGraph / custom) to query internal/external data sources and validate information.Integration: Expose models via APIs, integrate with our workflow systems and UI.Collaboration: Work with underwriters to refine data models, validation rules, and usability.Requirements5+ years in AI/ML engineeringProven experience with document processing pipelinesStrong skills in LLM application development (OpenAI API, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.),Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar orchestration frameworks.Proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Pydantic, async programming).Understanding of data validation and normalization for business-critical workflows.Excellent communication skills and autonomy in a remote, fast-paced environment.If you think you could matcht, please send your CV and examples of relevant projects to contact@mincaai.com
