You’ll work on proof of concept (POC) implementations, model development, large language model integrations, agentic AI workflows, and developing scalable AI infrastructure. You’ll collaborate closely with product leadership, cross-functional data engineers / scientists, and otherstakeholders to bring innovative AI solutions from research into production and into product offerings.Key ResponsibilitiesLead design and delivery of production-ready agentic AI solutions for client projects in life sciencesArchitect and build multi-agent systems using LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen from requirements to deploymentMentor and upskill junior AI engineers, establishing best practices and technical standardsOwn technical delivery in close collaboration with internal product teams - partner with Learning Strategists, Digital Solutions lead, and other product team members to understand solution requirements and execute AI implementations; may occasionally interface with external clients as neededEstablish AI infrastructure from ground up - observability, monitoring, deployment pipelinesBuild POCs to validate approaches, then rapidly move to productionResearch emerging techniques when relevant to client needsEducation, Experience, Training, and KnowledgeEducationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering).Experience (2-5 years)4-7+ years AI/ML experience with minimum 1-2 years building production multi-agent systemsProven experience with production agentic frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen)Demonstrated leadership: Led projects, mentored engineers, made architectural decisionsStrong client-facing communication skillsCan work independently with minimal guidanceExperience taking POCs to production at speedFlexible to maintain working hours with significant overlap (about 50%) with EST timezone to support synchronous collaboration with US-based product and leadership teamsSkills & AbilitiesStrong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and theoretical computer science.Curiosity and passion for innovation: actively follows research papers, conferences, latest trends in AI/ML.Ability to search, analyze, and integrate existing AI models/frameworks to build new solutions.Good system design skills: capable of designing scalable, modular, maintainable AI systems capable of production deployment.Experience implementing observability, logging/monitoring/tracing for models / agents.Good communicator: able to explain technical methods, trade-offs, and outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong attention to detail; ability to handle multiple research / engineering tasks.Preferred Qualifications / Additional AssetsExperience in regulated industries (healthcare/life sciences)Built agent systems from scratch (not just integration)Led small teams or been sole technical ownerTrack record of rapid delivery in fast-paced environmentsWhat You Will Enjoy at Red NucleusCompetitive pay, incentives, income security programs.Comprehensive benefits and wellness programs focused on healthy lifestyles.Flexible work arrangements and remote working.Performance-driven environment including professional development and growth opportunities.People-first culture fostering self-expression, diversity, and a growth mindset.Celebrations – we love to celebrate team milestones, innovation wins, diversity and inclusion, and other moments that bring us together.Diversity, equity and inclusion are valued at Red Nucleus and we believe we have a shared responsibility to provide equal opportunity and foster an inclusive spirit.
