Because access to the information you need to make smart decisions shouldn’t be complicated. ‘User-friendly’ is our mantra.This is a hands-on, cross-functional role at the heart of SmartSurvey’s decision-making engine.As Senior Analytics Engineer, you will design and deliver data pipelines, insights, and dashboards that empower our teams to make confident, data-informed decisions. Your work will connect our business data into a single source of truth, enabling faster action and smarter strategies across Sales, Product, Marketing, Support, Operations, and Finance.You will lead the full ELT process, optimise our Power BI semantic layer, and create impactful dashboards that turn complex data into clear stories for every part of the business.Within your first 3–6 Months, you will:Deliver fully automated ELT workflows from source systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Recurly, Stripe, Mixpanel, Azure SQL) into Power BILaunch a suite of self-serve, standardised dashboards with clear, consistent metricsOptimise the Power BI semantic layer for speed, scalability, and ease of usePartner with stakeholders to uncover insights that directly influence product, revenue, and retention strategiesEmbed governance, documentation, and training so teams can confidently explore and act on their data Role responsibilities: Data Strategy & Pipeline DevelopmentLead the end-to-end ELT process, from data extraction through to clean, reusable Power BI modelsBuild and maintain reliable, automated data pipelines to support scalable reporting needsChampion best practices in data transformation using Power Query (M) and DAX Semantic Modelling & Dashboard DeliveryDevelop and optimise Power BI semantic models to enable self-service analyticsCreate intuitive, high-impact dashboards for revenue, engagement, product usage, and retention metricsContinuously improve performance and user experience of all reporting assets Stakeholder Collaboration & Insights GenerationWork closely with teams across the business to understand reporting needs and define actionable metricsTranslate complex data into clear, compelling visuals and storiesUse data to drive alignment, decision-making, and measurable impact Governance, Enablement & DocumentationImplement secure, scalable data governance in Power BI (workspace structure, row-level security, access control)Maintain up-to-date documentation for data definitions, transformation logic, and dashboard usageEnable teams through training and support to explore and understand their data What we're looking:Experience designing and delivering ELT workflows using Power BI or similar toolsStrong proficiency with Power BI Desktop and Service (DAX, Power Query, semantic modelling)Experience in a SaaS business, familiar with metrics like MRR/ARR, churn, CAC, CLTVAbility to integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, cloud apps, databases)Excellent communication skills, able to translate business needs into technical solutions Brownie Points:Coaching or enabling non-technical users to interpret dashboardsFamiliarity with Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps)Experience in a fast-paced SaaS or scale-up environmentBackground in tech/SaaS start-ups Why Work With Us:Great work-life balanceCompetitive remuneration packageExceptional social package & special discountsSupplemental health & dental careTeam bonding eventsExcellent office location & facilitiesRelaxing & gaming areasFree bike parking & showers More About Pwrteams:Join our fast-growing and diverse team at Pwrteams, where we provide premium IT and engineering nearshore solutions to our global customers.
