With a strong background in SoC design methodologies and a hands-on approach to problem-solving, you’re ready to make a lasting impact on the future of high-performance chip design in Korea and beyond.What You’ll Be Doing:Providing expert-level technical support and training for customers and partners on Apache BU simulation products.Independently managing multiple customer designs through tape-out, ensuring all deliverables meet or exceed expectations.Applying advanced knowledge in custom circuit analysis, VLSI design, physical layout, power-grid extraction, and noise/voltage drop analysis using industry-leading CAD tools.Proactively engaging with customers to uncover workflow improvements, technical needs, and new business opportunities.Collaborating closely with Sales to expand software usage and drive growth in existing and emerging markets.Partnering with Product Development to refine and enhance software products based on real-world customer feedback and use cases.Developing utilities and scripts to streamline troubleshooting and debugging, leveraging UNIX and scripting proficiency.The Impact You Will Have:Elevate customer productivity and satisfaction through timely, high-quality support and training.Accelerate successful tape-out cycles by resolving complex design challenges efficiently.Enhance product adoption and usage by identifying and demonstrating innovative solutions.Drive business growth by expanding customer relationships and uncovering new opportunities.Strengthen Synopsys’ reputation as the go-to provider for advanced simulation and design tools.Directly influence product improvements, ensuring our solutions remain best-in-class and customer-centric.Support the evolution of SoC and custom circuit design methodologies in Korea’s thriving semiconductor sector.What You’ll Need:BSEE with at least 5 years of VLSI design experience, or MSEE/PhD in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience.Strong expertise in power and noise analysis, including hands-on experience with CAD tools for complex SoC and custom circuit designs.Proficiency in standard cell physical layout, power-grid extraction, timing analysis, and voltage drop effects.Demonstrated ability to use EDA tools for layout, STA, Extraction-SPEF/DSPF, and Spice simulation.Advanced scripting skills (Perl, Tcl, or Python) and solid knowledge of UNIX operating systems for troubleshooting and automation.Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.Who You Are:Resourceful and self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal guidance.Collaborative team player who enjoys cross-functional partnership with Sales and Product Development.Analytical thinker with a knack for turning complex problems into practical solutions.Customer-focused, dedicated to delivering outstanding service and technical support.Adaptable and open to travel as needed to support customer engagements.Continuous learner who stays ahead of industry trends and best practices.The Team You’ll Be A Part Of:You’ll join a passionate group of application engineers, product specialists, and business development professionals focused on delivering world-class support and innovative solutions to Korea’s leading semiconductor companies.
