Together we can influence the world around us to make life and work better.Ferring+You The Senior Architect – Serialization/Automation Systems plays a key role in defining, designing, and implementing serialization and automation solutions across Ferring’s global manufacturing sites. This role ensures that all systems comply with regulatory and business requirements while promoting harmonization, scalability, and operational excellence across the company’s digital and automation landscape.Your day at FerringDesign and maintain global serialization and automation system architecture, ensuring compliance, scalability, and alignment with IT and manufacturing strategies.Develop standardized, efficient, and compliant shop-floor solutions that meet the needs of a regulated pharmaceutical environment.Lead global implementation and lifecycle management of serialization and automation platforms, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.Collaborate with Global IT, Quality, and Operations teams, as well as external suppliers, to ensure harmonized processes and continuous system improvement.Ensure compliance with GMP, GAMP, and data integrity requirements while supporting audits, validations, and change controls.Drive innovation by identifying emerging technologies and promoting standardization, simplification, and digital transformation across sites.Behind our innovation…There’s youMaster’s degree in Automation, Electrical, Computer, or Process Engineering.Minimum 8–10 years of experience in automation, serialization (preferential), or manufacturing IT systems in a regulated pharmaceutical environment (preferential).Strong knowledge of GAMP 5, GMP, CFR Part 11, and data integrity principles.Proven experience with serialization platforms (e.g., Antares Vision, Systech, SEA Vision) - preferential - and integration with MES, ERP, and L4/L5 systems.Strong leadership and communication skills with experience leading cross-functional and global initiatives.Fluent in English; other languages are an asset.People come first at FerringGet inspired from our commitment to advocate for everyone’s right to build a family, no matter who you are, where you live or who you loveOur inclusive support package – “Building Families at Ferring” provides equal and accessible policies for all employees who wish to start their family journey, ensuring a global standard, irrespective of location and roleParental leave for both birthing and non-birthing parentsExtended support on family building journeyMaking a difference in the life of millions of people means we succeed by working together.
