Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Associate Counsel, based in Abuja. The Senior Associate Counsel will be responsible for handling complex corporate, commercial, and dispute resolution cases. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and reviewing legal documents, providing strategic advice to clients, conducting legal research, and representing clients in court proceedings. The role also involves contributing to business development, mentoring junior associates, and ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards. Qualifications Expertise in Corporate Law, Commercial Law, and Dispute ResolutionExperience in Legal Research, Legal Writing, and Contract DraftingStrong Litigation and Negotiation skillsProficiency in Professional Ethics and Client ManagementStrategic Thinking, Problem-Solving, and Analytical skillsExcellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Leadership abilitiesFamiliarity with regulatory and procedural laws in NigeriaBachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) and membership of the Nigerian Bar AssociationA minimum of four years' post-call legal experience in a reputable firmmust be Abuja based lawyer.
