Overview: A leading entertainment development company in Saudi Arabia is embarking on an ambitious program to build 22 state-of-the-art entertainment destinations, including two major theme parks. These venues will feature world-class attractions and experiences designed to elevate guest entertainment across the Kingdom. The organization’s procurement function is actively supporting multiple projects across the portfolio and is now seeking experienced consultants to provide short-term support and strengthen the team’s capacity across key initiatives. This role sits within the Business Support division and plays a key part in ensuring compliance with national content policies, optimizing reporting systems, and supporting supplier development programs. The Role: As a Senior Associate for Local Content, you’ll support the implementation of local content (LC) policies and supplier development initiatives. You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that systems, processes, and reports align with established regulatory frameworks. The role reports to the Associate Director of Supply Chain Excellence. Responsibilities: Support the implementation and continuous improvement of LC policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with LC templates and reporting requirements. Collaborate with IT to enhance SAP/Ariba systems for reporting and capability building. Coordinate data collection and report preparation for internal and external submission. Review and update manuals, templates, and forms to reflect the latest standards. Facilitate workshops and training sessions for internal and external stakeholders. Lead and support supplier development program (SDP) exercises in line with policy requirements. Coordinate internal communication to ensure smooth execution of reporting and compliance activities. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field. Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, or compliance. Knowledge of local content frameworks and government reporting standards. Proficiency in SAP/Ariba, MS Office, and ERP or intranet systems. Strong communication skills in English and Arabic (written and verbal). Nice to Have: Prior experience working with local content programs or public-sector frameworks. Familiarity with vendor engagement and supplier performance tracking.Salary: Competitive compensation package based on experience.
