Senior Automation Engineer – 13950A

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team.What you will work on:Reprogram and further develop a pre-assembly piston production line in an operational manufacturing environmentCreate new control code and logic using Siemens TIA Portal (v17+)Design, implement and optimize control functions using LAD, GRAPH and SCLArchitect and implement the PPAP software system and define signal modelsConfigure and maintain Siemens 1500 F PLCs, HMI Comfort Panels and associated automation componentsEnsure robust system communication through OPC UA and ProfinetIntegrate and optimize Cognex vision systems for quality and inspection processesTroubleshoot industrial networks, communication layers and safety-related functionsConduct simulation and virtual commissioning to secure functional reliabilityCollaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams and production stakeholders to secure seamless implementationWhat you bring:Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Siemens TIA Portal automation projectsAt least 3 years of experience in developing machine logic from scratch for production environmentsStrong background in modular, reusable code architecture within large automation systemsProven experience reprogramming or upgrading existing production line automationExperience with traceability, variant handling and MES system integrationBachelor’s degree in Industrial Automation or equivalent engineering fieldStrong understanding of industrial communication protocols and safety systemsExcellent communication skills in English; Swedish is a plusStructured, solution-oriented and hands-on approach with strong collaboration skills
