We provide end-to-end automation and integration solutions to the medical device industry.Overview Of RoleBecome part of a growing multi-disciplinary team delivering automated equipment solutions from concept through to full implementation.Machine control system software design, development & commissioning.A great opportunity to gain varied experience in the design of high-tech engineering applications.Main TasksDesign and integrate control system software for automated machines including PLCs, Robotics, Motion, HMI, SCADA, Vision.Develop, test, commission & support machine control software.Design of equipment to CE, electrical, machinery safety and clients’ standards.Interpret & develop design & validation documentation required for regulated industries (URS, FDS, FAT, etc).Specification of control system components.Collaborate closely within a multi-disciplinary project team throughout an entire project life cycle.Experience10+ years of previous experience in similar industries.PLC & HMI experience essential, preferably with Allen Bradley or Siemens platforms.Knowledge of automated machine design, specification & development.Ability to create technical documentation.Familiarity with robotics, motion control, machine vision, pneumatics an advantage.RequirementsExcellent communication skillsProactive and energetic approachStrong organizational skillsA quality minded outlook and a problem-solving attitudeNeeds to work well in a multifunctional teamDriving License and ability to travelReporting to: Engineering Manager (Controls)
