Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled AWS Cloud Security & Operations Engineer to join our team. This hybrid role combines responsibilities in cloud engineering, operations, and security. It requires strong knowledge of AWS security tools and practices, as well as experience in day-to-day AWS infrastructure management, automation, and support. You will be responsible for monitoring and securing our cloud environments while also helping build and maintain robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure. Key ResponsibilitiesCloud Engineering & OperationsProvision, configure, and manage AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFront, etc.).Support Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using Terraform.Contribute to CI/CD automation, environment provisioning, and deployments.Perform AWS account administration, cost optimization, and performance tuning.Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and support development teams.Security OperationsMonitor AWS environments for security threats using GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail, and other tools.Investigate and respond to cloud-related security incidents and alerts.Manage IAM policies, access controls, and enforce least-privilege principles.Support vulnerability scanning, remediation, and cloud risk assessments.Required Skills & Experience3+ years of experience in AWS cloud engineering, including security operations.Proficiency with AWS services: IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc.Hands-on experience with AWS security tools (GuardDuty, Config, Inspector).Strong scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, or similar) for automation and tooling.Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI).Solid knowledge of networking, monitoring, and logging in cloud environments.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across security and infrastructure layers.Experience with Linux and Windows system administration.
