Senior Backend Developer - Django

With over 17 years of experience, Gentoo Media is a leading affiliate in the online casino and sportsbook industry through our extensive portfolio of products and services, featuring our flagship websites AskGamblers, Time2Play, CasinoTopsOnline, WSN, Casinomeister, and our SaaS brand-protection tool Sitebee.What you'll be doingBuild and maintain scalable backend services, primarily in Python and GoDesign and implement APIs (REST, GraphQL, WebSockets) with a focus on performance, reliability, and simplicityWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented codeDevelop and maintain automated tests to ensure service reliabilityDefine, manage, and optimize databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL)Collaborate with front-end and other backend teams to ensure seamless integration and responsivenessWork with the Kubernetes ecosystem and related tooling (e.g. Vault, ArgoCD)Contribute to and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable deploymentsWho we're looking forProven experience building and scaling backend systemsStrong understanding of backend architecture and API design principlesSolid experience with relational and non-relational databasesFamiliarity with cloud-native infrastructure and KubernetesHands-on experience with CI/CD best practices and toolingExcellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindsetWhat we're offering:At Gentoo Media, we’re redefining affiliate marketing in iGaming - and we know that great work starts with great people.
