This isn’t just another job.JOB SUMMARY:We are looking for a colleague to join our web development team in the segment of a global VR video streaming ecosystem. The best measure of success for this role is when tasks meet their ends. All it works as it should, smoothly, consistently and reliably.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and maintain server apps.Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.Develop and maintain APIs, optimize API responsiveness and efficiency.Optimize database performance through indexing, caching, and query optimization.Improve code quality through unit and integration tests.Debug and enhance app reliability.Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.YOUR PROFILE:3+ years of Software Engineering experience with PHPExperience with NoSQL (MongoDB or similar)Knowledge of network and internet protocolsExperience working with Redis (nice-to-have)Experience with Golang, Python or Java is a big plus (nice-to-have)Written and spoken English level B1+ (Intermediate+) and aboveHIRING PROCESS:HR screening (30 min)Team Interview (1.5 hour)Live Coding (45 min)CEO Interview (30 min)💼 Explore our hiring process.WHAT WE OFFER:Please note, that this is a fully remote contract role.
