As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll architect and develop mission-critical payment systems and core banking infrastructure for our digital banking platform. You'll work with modern technologies to build scalable, secure, and high-performance financial services that handle global real-time transactions.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement secure payment system, transaction reconciliation, and settlement processesMaintain and optimize the core banking system, including integrations with external systemsBuild and optimize high-throughput, low-latency APIs for financial transactionsDevelop partner-facing APIs and SDKs that enable seamless banking service integrationMentor engineers and establish best practices for code quality, testing, and architectureQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related disciplineStrong expertise in production-grade backend development with Golang and/or JavaProven experience building scalable, secure systems in fintech or banking domainsHands-on proficiency with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB), message queues (e.g., Kafka), and RESTful/GraphQL APIsStrong problem-solving skills and knowledge of distributed systemsExperience with cryptocurrency systems (preferred)Previous experience in banking or financial technology industries is a plusExcellent teamwork and communication skillsWhat We OfferA competitive compensation package with potential share offer from a promising sovereign backed fintech companyWorks with top industry players in blockchain and cryptocurrency industry with exciting projectsConducive work environmentWorks with a dynamic, young and passionate team.
