Experienced Site Technician / Field Service TechnicianWe’re looking for an Experienced Site Technician / Field Service Technician to join us at Obsnap Automation Sdn. Bhd. (HQ in Subang Jaya) and support projects nationwide across Malaysia.Company DescriptionObsnap Automation & Testing Sdn. With a focus on innovation and reliability, we help our clients achieve operational efficiency and enhanced productivity.What You’ll DoTake ownership of customer issues, from troubleshooting to full resolution.Research, diagnose, and resolve system/equipment problems; escalate unresolved issues when necessary.Carry out on-site installation, calibration, servicing, and repair of equipment.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to determine procedures.Prepare service reports, technical documentation, and customer feedback.Provide prompt, professional responses to technical enquiries (installation, systems, service).Guide and support junior technicians on technical matters.Collaborate with engineers and project managers, reporting progress and challenges.Support office-based tasks and on-site follow-ups as assigned.RequirementsEducation & SkillsDiploma/Certificate (or higher) in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automation.Solid grounding in mathematics and physics for technical work.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.Experience1–3 years of experience in installation, troubleshooting, or maintenance of electrical/electronic equipment.Familiarity with automation systems, control panels, or industrial instrumentation is a plus.Candidates with 3–5 years of experience may be considered for advanced responsibilities.Personal QualitiesStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.Initiative and willingness to learn new technologies.Good communication and customer service skills.Team player, but able to work independently when needed.LanguagesRequired: English.Added advantage: Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.BenefitsWhen you join Obsnap, you’ll enjoy a well-rounded package designed to support both your professional and personal life:Competitive salary (RM2,500–3,500 depending on experience).Transport costs covered for client-assigned outstation tasks.EPF & SOCSO contributions in line with Malaysian employment standards.Annual leave and medical leave entitlement for rest and recovery.On-the-job learning opportunities to strengthen your technical expertise.Practical support through teamwork and clear safety standards on-site.Work-life balance perks, including occasional company gatherings and team-building activities.Based in Subang Jaya | Projects across MalaysiaReady to make your next career move?
