Contract Business Analyst – Finance ERP Programme - 6 months day rate Job Description:Our client, a leading organisation within the financial services sector, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a large-scale Finance ERP transformation programme on an initial 6-month daily rate contract.Job ResponsibilitiesWork closely with finance stakeholders to gather, analyse and document detailed business and functional requirements for a Finance ERP implementation.Act as the key liaison between Finance, IT and third-party vendors to ensure alignment between business needs and system capabilities.Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to define current and future-state processes.Translate accounting and finance requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories.Support system configuration, testing cycles (SIT/UAT) and defect resolution in collaboration with project teams.Assist in data migration activities, ensuring financial data integrity and accuracy.Contribute to process improvement initiatives associated with ERP implementation and finance transformation.Provide ongoing reporting and documentation to support governance and project controls.Experience RequiredMinimum 5 years’ experience operating as a Business Analyst on enterprise-level projects.Strong professional background in Finance, with prior experience working as a qualified or part-qualified Accountant highly desirable.Proven experience delivering Business Analysis services on Finance ERP implementations or large finance transformation programmes.Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with senior finance stakeholders and technical teams.Experience producing high-quality business requirements documentation and process maps.Strong understanding of financial reporting, controls, and accounting processes.Desirable SkillsExperience working with leading ERP platforms within finance environments.Knowledge of finance process optimisation and systems integration.Familiarity with structured project methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall or hybrid approaches).Exposure to data migration and financial systems testing practices.Educational RequirementsThird-level degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems or a related discipline.Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is advantageous.HOW TO APPLY:If you are interested in this role, please apply with your updated CV
