Senior Business Analyst

Job Title: Senior Business AnalystWilling to relocate.IntroductionWe are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst (BA) . The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that software solutions meet business objectives and deliver value.With a strong background in requirements gathering, process analysis, and stakeholdermanagement, the Senior BA will play a key role in driving the successful delivery of softwareprojects.Key Responsibilities● Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and document business requirements, usecases, and functional/non-functional specifications.● Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements for the development team.● Conduct gap analyses to identify areas for improvement in existing systems orprocesses.● Develop user stories, workflows, and process diagrams to clearly articulaterequirements.● Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.● Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews to gather requirements and align onproject objectives.● Ensure stakeholders’ needs are prioritized and incorporated into project deliverables.● Communicate project updates, risks, and milestones effectively to stakeholders.● Work closely with development teams to ensure requirements are understood andimplemented accurately.● Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups as part of an Agiledevelopment process.● Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) by defining test cases, scenarios, andsupporting defect resolution.● Review and validate software deliverables against requirements to ensure quality andalignment.● Maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents,functional requirement specifications, and user manuals.● Leverage data analytics to support decision-making and provide insights into projectperformance.● Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for optimization based on data-driven insights.Required Qualifications● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, InformationTechnology, or a related field.● 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a software development orIT environment.● Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).● Expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management tools (e.g., Jira,Confluence, Trello).● Proficiency in business process modeling tools (e.g., draw.io, Visio, Lucidchart...).● Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, or Power BI.● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complextechnical concepts.
