Senior Business Analyst

Job Title: Senior Business analyst with Energy trading background Location: Stockholm, Sweden Client: Multinational Power Company Assignment Start: 5 th January 2026 Assignment End: 31 st December 2026 Assignment Type: Residential Work Schedule: 8 Hours per day / 5 days a week JOB DESCRIPTION We are now looking for a skilled Business analyst with Energy trading background to Vattenfall Energy Trading. The team you will join consists of Business Analyst working in complex projects across multiple agile teams and areas. Sometimes also across two Business areas within Vattenfall. This role will probably start with the market in Netherlands, so knowledge about the Dutch and German market is a plus. Responsibilities: Conduct stakeholder analysis and engagement planning.Elicit high-level business needs and objectives (interviews, workshops, document analysis).Define and document business requirements and success criteria.Analyze and model requirements (process flows, use cases, data models).Classify requirements (business, stakeholder, solution, transition).Prioritize and validate requirements with stakeholders.Trace requirements to business objectives.Support solution design and development by clarifying requirements.Manage requirements changes (impact analysis, documentation, approval).Facilitate communication between business and technical teams.Support test case development and requirements-based testing. Skills: Extensive background from the Energy trading area:In areas such as intraday markets, congestion services, balancing market access.Experience from Continental (i.e. NL) and Nordic markets.ETRM = Energy Trading and Risk Management.This role will probably start with the market in Netherlands, so knowledge about the Dutch and German market is a plus.Nice to have; Experience from ENDURNice to have; Working in similar roles at EON or UniperFluent in English, Swedish is a meritAt least University/Collage Education Skills and Experience
