Our Australian and New Zealand offices run as one integrated team, which splits its time between trans-Tasman projects and work in the Pacific Islands, as well as Southeast and Central Asia.Duties for this role:– Respond to business opportunities, including:Monitoring and screening published procurement opportunities (i.e., governments, MDBs, private agencies,etc.), and circulating relevant opportunities to Practice LeadersTracking procurement timelines, deadlines, and requirements to ensure timely actionRegistering Castalia on procurement portals and maintaining up-to-date vendor profilesReviewing procurement documents (RFIs, RFQs, RFPs) to extract key requirements, evaluation criteria, and instructionsPreparing Expressions of Interests (EOIs) for suitable public procurement opportunitiesSubmitting EOIs via client portals.– Contribute to proposal development by:Drafting company qualifications and capability statementsIdentifying and preparing CVs of proposed team members in compliance with procurement formatsAssisting with costing and budgetingManaging proposal development timelines and deliverablesEnsuring compliance with all procurement and submission requirementsProofreading, finalizing, and submitting proposals via client portals– Coordinate inputs from internal and external stakeholders throughout the procurement process to ensure quality and consistency– Manage and update Castalia’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Qualifications (Quals) databases ensuring accurate and timely records of all business development and procurement activities– Maintain business development tools, templates, and trackers to ensure information is complete, correct, and current– Track procurement outcomes and debriefs to inform continuous improvement of future submissions– Support the development of procurement capability materials (i.e., EOI templates, CV libraries, qualification summaries, etc.)– Prepare high impact presentations showcasing Castalia’s service offerings and expertise, for both private and public clients– Thoroughly understand and clearly convey the established brand voice through all marketing materials– Improving our business development approach, byIdentifying opportunities to improve how we do business development and marketingWorking with managers and others to develop and implement improvementsTrain and coach others in following our business development approaches successfullyAssist the BD Manager with ad-hoc BD tasks as requiredWho we’re looking for:Bachelor’s degree in business or related fieldsAt least 2 years of relevant experienceExperience preparing proposals, preferably for a professional services firm in a public-procurement environmentExperience with international agencies, such as the World Bank and Inter-American Development BankExperience in document preparationFluency in languages other than English is a plusHighly proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to translate content into compelling and high-quality presentation materials.Remuneration and BenefitsThis is a full-time position.
