With hundreds of thousands of SMBs and globally-minded entrepreneurs, Vietnam is rapidly emerging as a hub for cross-border trade. In this role, you’ll lead and scale a high-performing team of sales professionals, driving Payoneer’s adoption among businesses engaging in international trade and services—helping them get paid globally through fast, secure, and cost-effective solutions. If you're passionate about enabling Vietnam’s global business success and leading a team to make real impact, this is your opportunityHo Chi Minh City | Hybrid | Full-timeWhat You’ll DoOwn and exceed sales targets through strong acquisition efforts and disciplined pipeline management.Develop and execute Vietnam’s go-to-market (GTM) strategy, including vertical focus, lead generation, and sales motions.Identify high-potential verticals, customer segments, and use cases to drive scalable growth.Create compelling value propositions in collaboration with Product, Marketing, and other functional teams.Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing Business Development team with clear performance expectations and a culture of excellence and accountability.Leverage market insights and customer feedback to shape product direction and GTM execution.Represent Payoneer in industry forums and build strategic partnerships to drive brand visibility and lead flow.Serve as the voice of Vietnam Sales across internal stakeholders—Risk, Compliance, Product, Ops, and Leadership.Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless customer experience and long-term retention.Contribute local insights to inform regional and global initiatives and prioritiesWho You AreFluent in English, Mandarin proficiency is a plusStrong data-driven decision-making, with excellent communication, listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.At least 8 years of experience in business development and sales, with at least 4 years of sales team management experience, preferably in payments, ecommerce or managing large size merchant acquisitionsTrack record of meeting and exceeding business established goalsExperience in leading complex negotiations with CXOs of large and enterprise accountsAbility to drive operational excellence through innovative initiativesAbility to manage a high performing teamAbility to inspire direct reports and influence those without direct management responsibilityStrong team player, self-motivated and the ability to work independently at coordinating across functional activities, obtain buy-in and elevate issues at critical junctures appropriatelyNot a Must But a Great AdvantageExperience in the Payments and Banking industryFamiliarity with the B2B and Enterprise Customer SegmentExperience with direct sales for small businesses engaged in cross border tradeExperience working in an international company with diverse cultureThe Payoneer Ways of WorkingAct as our customer’s partner on the insideLearning what they need and creating what will help them go further.Do it.
