We enable your best to power our future.Job DescriptionAs a successful, strategic, individual contributor of the EMEA commercial team, you will be part of a world class metadata company driving innovation and development in the Media Ecosystem working with PayTV and Content Distribution companies.Job ResponsibilitiesPrimary focus is to grow revenues in the German Media market and surrounding territory:Win new PayTV, Content Creators, and Entertainment customers to the portfolio.Develop and expand current client relationships through consultative sales processes.Help launch and successfully integrate new products, services and solutions.Improve profitability.Become a regional market expert and leader for the commercial team:Possess and share intelligence on content distribution and entertainment market trends. Map, define and clearly understand the region with potential and existing customers and build winning strategies in a competitive landscape.Build strong partnerships with clients, at multiple levels before and after sales cycles. QualificationsWhat is expected from you:Be creative and passionate: This is an autonomous role where you can thrive with creative independence to develop and manage sales proposals, manage renewal processes, develop and build solid pipelines, and manage contract negotiations for the territory.Be organized, bold, analytical and win the business: Using meticulously honed sales processes, with a strong ability for prospecting and developing relationships, implementing strategies to ensure customer retention, analyzing needs and opportunities, negotiating contract terms, documenting activity and rigorously following up on issues pertaining to the sale and delivery of services to customers, exceed revenue targets set for the territory.Be the best customer partner: Manage active customers' relationships and needs, convert those needs into upsells.Be a strong team player: Collaborate with sales colleagues in the EMEA regions to drive revenue opportunities. Stay in-the-know: Identify new business opportunities and improve products by maintaining a strong working knowledge of industry trends and competitive threats.Job RequirementsPrior experience within Media, PayTV, Content Distribution and/or the Entertainment ecosystem sets you apart for this role. Experience with data, licensing and/or SAAS gives you a significant head start.Track record 5+ years of executive level strategic sales combined with exceptional tactical execution.Native German speaker. Multiple language skills are a bonus.Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
