The Senior Business Development Specialist leads revenue growth by identifying high-potential opportunities, building strategic partnerships, managing proposals and initiatives, and winning new engagements—while also steering marketing activities and strengthening Ithmar’s brand presence in the Saudi market. The role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution to ensure sustainable business growth, with readiness to travel within the Kingdom as needed to support client relationships, partners, and on-the-ground initiatives.Role OverviewThe Senior Business Development Specialist at Ithmar Financial Advisory drives revenue growth by exploring target markets, expanding the client base, and forging strategic partnerships with government and private-sector entities. The role oversees end-to-end proposal and initiative management, coordinates marketing campaigns, and elevates the firm’s market presence in Saudi Arabia—reinforcing Ithmar’s position as a trusted, leading provider of financial consulting services. The position requires flexibility to travel within the Kingdom when required to support client and partner engagements and field initiatives.Key Responsibilities1.Explore target markets and identify new opportunities to expand the client base within Saudi financialconsulting sectors.2.Build and manage strategic relationships with clients, partners, government bodies, stakeholders, andinfluencers to strengthen the firm’s market position.3.Lead partnership and contract negotiations to drive sustainable revenue growth and long-term clientcollaboration.4.Oversee the full proposal lifecycle—from analyzing RFPs/RFQs through drafting and submission—ensuringalignment with client requirements, clear value articulation, and brand consistency.5.Maintain and update the proposals and initiatives repository, and document institutional knowledge andlessons learned to preserve, share, and leverage expertise for organizational performance.6.Provide post-submission support by managing clarifications, coordinating revisions, and participating in finalnegotiations to close deals successfully.7.Manage the client and opportunity pipeline via the CRM, ensuring accurate, timely updates for reliable dataand follow-through.8.Strengthen the firm’s market positioning as a trusted, leading advisory through initiatives centered on servicequality and execution excellence.9.Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns, including digital campaigns tailored to the Saudi market.10.Conduct market research and competitor analysis to generate strategic insights that guide businessdevelopment decisions and priorities.11.Manage official digital channels (e.g., website and social media) to build awareness of licensed services and expand digital reach.12.Produce professional marketing materials (e.g., brochures, presentations) in line with brand and visualidentity guidelines.13.Enhance cross-office collaboration among teams in Jeddah, Riyadh, and Cairo to align efforts and improveoperational efficiency.14.Update website and external collateral content to reflect priority service lines (e.g., VAT and GRC), ensuringaccuracy and relevance.Qualifications & RequirementsEducation•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Corporate Communications; professionalcertificates in Business Development or Digital Marketing are preferred.Experience•Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Business Development or Marketing—preferably within financial servicesor consulting—covering RFP/RFQ preparation and marketing campaign execution.Technical Skills•Proficiency in Arabic and English.•Strong command of digital marketing tools and platforms.•Advanced capability in proposal development and presentation design.•Solid understanding of brand and visual identity guidelines.•Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.•Strong negotiation and executive-level communication skills.Personal Attributes•Proactive, results-oriented, and quality-driven.•Demonstrated ability to connect marketing initiatives to commercial strategy to achieve growth objectives.
