Listening to and understanding the customer is paramount.  Job Summary As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and technically skilled Senior BI Developer to join our UK team. This role combines Power BI expertise with strong data engineering, visual design, and UI/UX skills. You will work across the full BI and reporting lifecycle, from data modelling and transformation through to dashboard design and visualisation, delivering clear, actionable insights to business stakeholders. You will take ownership of building scalable, well-structured data models and intuitive, visually engaging dashboards that balance accuracy, usability, and impact. You will support new client implementations and enhancements to existing solutions, working with data extracted from cloud SaaS APIs stored in SQL databases, Microsoft Fabric or Databricks, and contributing to analysis, modelling, data pipelines, and dashboard delivery. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric is desirable. You will work closely with colleagues across the team, including remote members, to ensure seamless collaboration, knowledge sharing, and delivery of high-quality, client-ready solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end database, data warehousing, and Power BI solutions. Build accurate, scalable, and visually compelling client-facing dashboards and reports. Translate client needs into actionable BI solutions and clear visual narratives. Develop prototypes and iterate quickly based on client feedback. Mentor and share expertise with colleagues to support team development and best practices. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and remote team members. Identify and resolve technical challenges to ensure smooth delivery of BI projects. Stay up to date with the latest tools, techniques, and trends in BI, data engineering, and visualisation. Support team coordination, project planning, and delivery of high-quality client solutions. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience  Minimum 5 years’ commercial experience in Power BI development and deployment. Expert in DAX and M Query, with advanced data modelling, calculation, and performance optimisation skills. Strong SQL skills (MS SQL preferred) and experience with data warehouse technologies such as Databricks. And/or Microsoft Fabric. Proven ability to create high-quality, visually engaging, client-ready dashboards. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges.  Preferred/Nice to Have Hands-on experience with Databricks. Experience with Microsoft Fabric is ideal including One Lake, SQL Warehouse and Dataflows/Pipelines.   Benefits 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays Day off for your birthday Flexible working hours Hybrid role – minimum of 2 days in the office Gym membership contribution Workplace pension contribution Regular social events  Support to gain relevant accreditations  Access to training with allocated time off for learning  Application ProcessIf your application is shortlisted, the process will include: Stage 1 An initial screening interview (online) Stage 2 Interview and practical assessment (online) Stage 3 Final face-to-face interview Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
