We are seeking a highly proficient Senior CAD Technician to join our team on a Part-Time Contract basis. This role requires expert-level technical drafting, a dedication to accuracy, and the ability to efficiently produce complete, construction-ready interior drawing packages.The candidate must be:EfficientDetail-obsessedAble to take design directionProactive in moving drawing sets forward — anticipating required details, coordinating information, and maintaining momentum without reminder.Responsibilities:Produce complete, detailed 2D construction drawing packages - including floor plans, elevations, schedules, interior sectionals & details.Execute markups and revisions with accuracy and efficiency.Draft, coordinate, and update schedules.Ensure accuracy, neatness, consistency, and technical precision across all sheets.Work in-office alongside the team for real-time collaboration, markups, and project coordination.Proactively seek design direction and markups to finalize drawings without delay.3D modelling in SketchUp is considered an asset (not required).Requirements:4+ years professional experience in custom residential interior drafting.Native or near-native English proficiency, for precise written and verbal communication.Expert-level AutoCAD proficiency - with exceptional accuracy, technical skill, and efficiency.Advanced understanding of construction methods, interior architectural detailing, and construction documentation.A proactive mindset - must take initiative, anticipate next steps, seek direction and keep drawings progressing without reminder.A dedication to high-quality technical output.Must be available to work in person at the company's Oakville office.Strong professionalism, reliability, and pride in delivering world-class technical work.How to Apply:Please submit the following documents to: info@rakocevicdesign.com ResumePortfolio (with examples of custom residential construction drawing packages you personally drafted) Brief introduction highlighting your relevant project experienceWe look forward to hearing from you.Rakocevic Design
