Job DescriptionDo you relish the opportunity to work with global brands?How would you evangelize our cutting edge products to partners?Join our Partner Enablement Team!Partner Solutions Engineers (PSE) are part of Akamai's APAC and Japan Pre-sales team. You will work with Channel Managers, Partner Account Executives, services & support teams. Together, you will ensure that partners are well enabled to identify, position, scope & sell Akamai solutions. PSEs tailor & execute Akamai's Partner training strategy for both partner & Akamai's growth.Shape the future of the InternetAs a Senior Partner Solutions Engineer, you will mentor the partners of the whole sales process. You will be the technical evangelist supporting partners with the adoption of our products and services. You'll play a pivotal role in demonstrating the value of our solutions, helping to close the sale.As a Senior Partner Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for:Working with partners to accelerate new customer acquisitionEnabling partners to market, sell, implement and support Akamai solutions to customers in a self-sustaining mannerConducting training and enablement workshops for a partner's sales, pre-sales and architect teamsDefining a partner-specific enablement plan based on the combined Akamai and partner's sales strategyCollaborating with the Channel Sales team to manage partner progress and success against the enablement planConducting feedback sessions with local presales to understand the challenges partner personnel face with current opportunitiesParticipating in the partner quarterly business reviews to obtain visibility and feedback from the partner.Representing needs of partners with product, marketing & services teams to drive partners' successDo What You LoveTo be successful in this role you will:Have Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical fieldHave 7 years' experience in a customer/partner facing role such as, technical pre-sales, account/project management, or consulting7+ years of experience in Internet Technologies such as HTTP, DNS, and SSL is requiredHave detailed knowledge of security, such as WAAP(WAF), DDoS, Firewall, and VPN, is requiredHave good understanding of and experience working within a channel go-to-market strategyHave good understanding of Cloud Security, CDN architecture, solutions, and productsHave project management experienceBe able to effectively present complex and technical material to varying audiences virtually and in-personFluent in Japanese with Business EnglishBuild your career at AkamaiOur ability to shape digital life today relies on developing exceptional people like you.
