Senior Cloud Engineer

Role: Senior Cloud EngineerLocation: Atlanta, GA / Windsor, CTMode of Hire: Full TimeKey Responsibilities Design, plan, and execute migration of applications and databases from IaaS to Azure PaaS. Configure and manage Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, and related resources. Collaborate with application teams to refactor .NET-based applications for PaaS compatibility. Ensure security, scalability, and performance best practices during migration. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and application deployment. Document architecture, migration steps, and operational procedures. Required Skills & Experience Azure Cloud Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Azure services, particularly App Service and SQL Database. Application Modernization: Familiarity with refactoring .NET applications for cloud-native environments. Database Migration: Experience migrating SQL databases to Azure PaaS. Infrastructure Knowledge: Understanding of IaaS vs. PaaS architectures and migration strategies. Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar tools. Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of security and compliance in cloud environments. Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
