DescriptionThe Senior Commercial Finance Analyst in Dyson Korea is a dynamic and highly visible role, responsible for providing the organization with insightful reporting and analysis required to drive cost optimization and support business decision making.Using this knowledge and insights, this role will proactively support to achieve organization’s goal without hesitation.Function OverviewThe role sits within the Finance team, a function which is critical to the success and stability of the business. The team focuses on two main areas; (i) financial analysis, reporting and planning, and (ii) financial control.The team supports processes and decision making for the short, medium and long term, as well as providing a level of control and structure to the wider organization.AccountabilitiesFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Support budget/LE submission with clear rationale and high level of accuracy; able to prove key financial levers in a wider anglePlay long-term business plans considering various business factorsSupport monthly performance review preparation providing insightful analysis on a monthly, quarterly, or full year basis; demonstrate key winning/risk factors by delivering reliable data packDeliver precise and detailed monthly P&L variance analysis vs. LE/YoY, or any relevant period, working alongside Finance control and Commercial finance with strong communication skills backed by professional finance knowledgeOperate monthly closing on company’s key costs transactionControl and consolidate I/C recharges, if requiredSeek to find where to make the daily process compliant and improvedReportingInitiate monthly/quarterly costs review meeting with budget owners to deliver insightful financial recommendations and support to achieve organization’s goalsDeliver monthly sales and cost analysis to Market Leadership Team and APAC regionProactively suggest and provide any insightful reports, not limited as givenBusiness PartneringPartner with Sales & Marketing Team in reviewing a regular Sales forecast by SKU, using data and analysis to ensure a robust and transparent approach, highlighting any risks or opportunities versus targetDrive an ROI approach to sales and marketing initiatives, using sales data to quantify the uplift, and partnering with them to make data driven decisions about future initiativesPeople & LeadershipCreate strong working relationships with cross-functions and at all levels of the organizationActively seek out opportunities to pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the roleBe harmonized, willing to support not dominateSkills / Experience RequiredPrevious experience working in a FP&A, Commercial finance or Accounting, preferably in FMCG (3~8years)Experience with Ecommerce/Retail business preferredDegree educatedProficient Korean & English languageStrong Excel skills and SAP experience preferredCommercially astuteSelf starter, who sees things through to completionResults driven, always looking for ways to improve thingsStrong attention to detail and comfortable being hands-on, combined with an ability to take a wider viewEnergetic and engaging, with a positive outlookDyson is an equal opportunity employer.
