This role is for one of the Weekday's clientsSalary range: Rs 960000 - Rs 1000000 (ie INR 9.6-10 LPA)Min Experience: 4 yearsLocation: Remote (India)JobType: full-timeThis role is designed for a highly skilled Senior Compliance Consultant with strong expertise in AML policy drafting, legal documentation, regulatory interpretation, and SOP/framework creation. You will lead high-quality compliance documentation projects, oversee multi-country regulatory research, and guide a team of analysts while working directly with clients across the GCC region. This is a permanent work-from-home role for India-based professionals who can operate comfortably in the UAE time zone and deliver consulting-standard work that aligns with strict regulatory expectations.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesPolicy, SOP & Framework CreationDevelop end-to-end AML policies, sanctions policies, CDD/KYC manuals, governance frameworks, and compliance chartersDraft detailed SOPs for AML workflows such as onboarding, monitoring, sanctions screening, escalation, and STR/SAR processesCreate documentation aligned with major Gulf regulatory bodies (CBUAE, MOI, FIU, ADGM, DFSA)Prepare multi-country AML policy variants for UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, and KSAConduct regulatory research and translate complex rulebooks, circulars, and updates into actionable compliance documentsProduce audit-ready deliverables that meet consulting and Big 4-level quality standardsRisk Assessment & ReportingPrepare Enterprise Risk Assessments (ERA), AML risk reports, and compliance monitoring summariesConduct gap assessments across multiple GCC jurisdictionsDevelop red flag indicators, audit findings, and compliance review reportsLegal Drafting & AdvisoryPrepare structured compliance advisories, legal notes, regulatory interpretations, and formal response lettersAnalyze evolving regulations and integrate changes into policy documentationTeam LeadershipLead and manage a team of 5+ compliance analystsReview document quality, guide the team on regulatory interpretation, and ensure timely and accurate deliveryAllocate work efficiently and maintain strong internal communicationClient CollaborationPresent reports and drafted policies directly to clientsManage delivery timelines and ensure alignment with client expectations and regulatory standardsWhat Makes You a Great FitStrong command over AML policy drafting, SOP creation, regulatory documentation, and governance frameworksMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience in compliance documentation or legal draftingProfessional qualifications such as CA / CS / LLB that support strong regulatory understandingProven ability to produce consulting-style documentation with clear structure, precision, and attention to detailLeadership experience managing teams of 5+ analystsExtensive exposure to AML, regulatory compliance, or multi-country risk assessmentsExcellent English drafting skills with the ability to simplify regulatory content into clear operational frameworksExperience working with GCC regulatory environments is highly advantageousAbility to manage multiple projects remotely while maintaining high standards of accuracy and delivery
