Senior Construction ManagerLocation: BelgiumEmployment: Permanent full-time Salary: €123,000 -€167,000 EurosThe Opportunity A senior-level opportunity to lead the delivery of a major 80MW hyperscale Data Centre construction project. This role acts as an extension of the client organisation, providing oversight, coordination, and leadership across multiple construction packages. You will ensure all contractors meet expectations for schedule, quality, Health & Safety, and commissioning, while driving high standards of delivery across the project.The Senior Construction Manager will be responsible for site-based supervision, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring all construction activities are executed in line with contractual, regulatory, and safety obligations.We are accepting applications from anywhere in Europe but you must be willing to permanently relocate. The company will house you for one month in Belgium whilst assisting you in finding your permanent residence which will then be fully your responsibility including financially.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & DelegationSupervise, support, and mentor a team of Construction Package Managers.Delegate responsibilities effectively while maintaining accountability and performance.Promote a proactive and collaborative team culture focused on delivery excellence.Construction OversightOversee daily site activities ensuring alignment with project milestones.Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve construction issues with contractors and stakeholders.Escalate risks, delays, and critical issues promptly and appropriately.Quality & Commissioning InterfaceWork closely with the Quality Manager to support inspections, audits, and resolution of quality issues.Coordinate with the Commissioning Lead to align construction activities with commissioning sequences and requirements.Ensure seamless handovers and transitions between construction and commissioning teams.Health & SafetyChampion a safety-first culture across all site works.Monitor contractor compliance with H&S policies and statutory requirements.Participate in safety walks, reviews, and incident investigations.Stakeholder ManagementAct as a key liaison between contractors and the wider client organisation.Facilitate clear communication, issue resolution, and alignment across all parties.Prepare and deliver progress reports and dashboard updates to senior stakeholders.Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and client teams.Reporting & CommunicationProduce clear and concise weekly/monthly progress reports and dashboards.Communicate technical matters and project risks effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
